Jan Suzukawa mostly writes m/m romance and science fiction, and often a combination of the two.

She has had careers in law and publishing and was a musician in her earlier years. She is also a translation rewriter and editor of Japanese light novels and manga. Some of the books she has edited include Code Geass, Gundam 00, Eureka Seven, Hetalia: Axis Powers, Ai no Kusabi, and many others.
